Infant Baptism: The next baptism for infants and children under five will take place on Saturday, August 20, 2005 at the 4pm Vigil Mass. Please read the baptism policy leaflet located in the racks at the church entrances. Then you may call the church office within the next two weeks to begin preparation if you are interested.

Help is needed: Any parishioner interested in becoming part of the Infant Baptism Team please contact Sr. Suzanne Brauer and for Liturgical Coordination Ministry please contact Claire Winder. Both can be reached at the Church office at 242-7934

The Volunteers of America operates a minor Home Repair Program in Orleans and Jefferson Parishes. The purpose is to assist elderly homeowners, 60 years and older, to remains in their homes with safety and dignity by providing free minor home repairs. If you or someone you know can utilize this service, see flyer on the bulletin board, at the entrance of the church, for more details.

St. Paul the Apostle School is still accepting registration for Grades pre-K thru 7th. There are openings in all grades. Anyone interested may come in to register from 9am - 12noon Monday - Friday or call Jenell Hassan at 242-5962 or Lisa Spurlock at 242-7934.

A Dinner Dance to say farewell to Fr. Bernard will be held on Friday, August 26, 2005 from 8pm to 12am at Southern University Café located at 6400 Press Drive. Tickets will be sold after the weekend Masses or at the Church office. Attire: Dressy/African Attire(optional)
